Sam's Club has All Small and Mighty 78 loads for $7.81 YMMV

I've been in two different Sam's clubs in the last week and both had the All Small and Mighty 78 load (3 of the 26 load bottles) for $7.81. That works out to $2.60 a bottle.

I was told that if a price ends with a 1, as in $7.81, that is the sale or clearance price, so we are always on the lookout for those prices when shopping at Sam's.

that's correct... .x1=clearance

$xx.x1 = marked down by corporate (except for some fresh foods)

$x.00 = food in coolers marked down (store level?)

C after the item number = canceled item

A after item number = Active item

 

If an item is canceled and there is only one left (especially larger items) talk to a manager and there is a good chance they will mark it down more for you just to get rid of it. At Walmart, stores get their markdown money the first of the month. Since Sam's is the same company, that may be true there also so managers may be more willing to mark stuff down towards the beginning of the month.
