Guest RealLivePrinces
...is this weekend; April 5-7. :) (An additional 15% off all prices, and associates' discounts double). Associates have coupons they can give to whomever they please. I know I plan on giving coupons to anyone who actually hangs up their fitting room clothes, takes them out and gives them to me to put away! kathybrad
I use to be a Kohl's associate a couple of years ago when they had the33% off, 50% off and 70% off the yellow sticker price. I put things on hold the night before the additional % off went into effect. After I stopped working there I could find out when the new markdowns took effect online or in the paper. Bought lots and lots of stuff at great prices. Now there doesn't seem to be anyway to know when the markdowns take place. Our adds continually say 60 - 80% off. I don't shop there near as much now I'd rather know the % off and figure out the price. Is there a way to learn this information ahead or when it happens? (I understand your comment about customers NOT taking their clothes out of the fitting room)
Guest RealLivePrinces
We discontinued that way of marking clearance, because it was too confusing to most people. Now our clearance tags say exactly how much an item will be at the register. New clearance (or marking down selected existing clearance) happens pretty much every Monday in various selected departments. We have a HUGE storewide markdown day on 4/9. Instead of having rolling clearance prices (all 60%, all 70%, all 80% or lower) like we used to, some items skip the 60% level completely on the first markdown and go straight to 70% or even 80% if it was a poor seller. I've read complaints that Kohl's clearance prices start higher now, and that's completely untrue. However, this new way of doing clearance means it's unlikely for some items to see 80% before it sells due to high demand. Conversely, 80% items which don't sell are eventually marked out of stock and destroyed. Oh, and this weekend, during the Friends and Family Event, there are 100 Power Hour (Night Owls/Early Birds) items on Friday night/Saturday morning! stacya
Can you use the 15% on top of other %age off discounts, as I see they're having the Early Bird/Night Owl sales this weekend...was planning to hit Kohl's right at 3 tomorrow...any tips on how to get one of those coupons, ie. having your adorable kids sweet talk a cashier, etc.? Guest RealLivePrinces
The F&F coupons are on top of all sale and clearance prices and you can use them as much as you want today through Saturday. You can't combine them with say, a Kohl's Charge pick-a-day coupon unless you're an associate, though. LOL! Depending on your store, they probably won't be hard to get. Some stores run contests to award the associate who gives away the most. I guarantee most cashiers will have some close at hand. Just be nice to us this weekend, and we'll probably be nice to you. stacya
I'LL be nice, but they'll probably be more than happy to see my kids go, as they won't be able to get a nap before I get there!

annie2you
Does anyone have the 30% off everything code for this weekend?
stacya
Didn't get a coupon, but still got GREAT deals!! Plus, dh and I bought a ton of stuff last week, since we are headed to FL this week, and both of our kids needed sandals, so I got price adjustments, which gave me a credit of almost $40!! So, my youngest ds got something extra for his Easter basket, and I'll save the rest for me to use. The guy sounded like he felt kinda bad about having to give me a merchandise credit instead of crediting my card (Kohl's cash weekend, so I got some one day, spent it the next), but I told him it was no problem, that I'd be spending it anyway, because "I know me..." Guest RealLivePrinces
Aww, I'm sorry you didn't get one. Next time I'll see if I can scan it and GD could maybe post it for me.

likesaving
I love Khol's. Can you please tell me where I enter the code to get the discount? Thanks in advance.
stacya
RealLivePrinces, thanks, that would be great! And my kids were being SUPER-bad, and even that didn't give them the nudge to give me a coupon to get me out of the store!! Luckily they were trapped in the double stroller, or it could've been MUCH worse!!
