murfokt Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 If you need this for your animals, go to Biovets.com I bought multiple packs for my cats and this was the cheapest that I found in the USA. Free shipping over $99.00 and use the code RC2426 for another 10% off.
pinkroses4mommy Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I buy this in the packs for the largest dogs and then use one applicator to do all my pets. It is a lot cheaper than buying one box for each animal.
sharpie Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 My German Shepherd and I thank you - with some of the savings I ordered him the set of 4 balls - he gets so excited over new toys!!
jcarr492 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I have always found eBay to be the cheapest.me too. I just ordered frontline plus from ebay in a large dog size and will use it on my shih tzu and my siamese cat, their sending me the applicator to get smaller doses out of it for their weight and if I were using just on my dog, it will last me 6 months, but since I'm using it on my cat too, it will last us 3 months for both..and only cost me 24.99 and free priority shipping.
April7575 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I buy this in the packs for the largest dogs and then use one applicator to do all my pets. It is a lot cheaper than buying one box for each animal. This is what we do also. We just broke it down according to the weight of our animals and I wrote down the amount needed for each pet. I double checked with a good friend who is a vet to make sure I did it right. We've been doing this for 3 years and brought down the cost considerably.
Shortness Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I buy this in the packs for the largest dogs and then use one applicator to do all my pets. It is a lot cheaper than buying one box for each animal. That's what I do too. I buy it at the local feed store.
kathybrad Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Thanks! Ordered this tonight from Biovet.com. Free shipping. No tax charged. 10% discount. Great deal.
laffnatu Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I have always found eBay to be the cheapest.Me too. I can't believe how much this stuff costs around here. I need to go ahead and get some more. My cat doesn't go outside, but my dog brings in fleas to her.
murfokt Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 My cats never go outside, we brought the fleas in the house last summer. We got an infestation. Never expected it since our cats never went outside. Of course at that time, I did not use any flea control.
Just Me Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Please tell me more about splitting dose's. I have a 65 pound dog. So I could split the dose thats for dogs up to 132? What do you use to split it and how do you keep the remainder good till the following month. thanks
rondadeal Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I was wondering too so I looked on EBay & there are people selling the large dose with a kit that allows you to split it. The kit has a bottle with an air tight stopper and a syringe and a list of how much to dose.
elena_398 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I ordered my Heart worm and flea meds from Pet Shed.com I got my stuff today. Same as if I got it from my vet. Its from Australia where you don't need a perscription. Only cost $38.64 for both my Rat Terrier and Yellow Lab (heartworm) and $52 for Frontline for them. My vet tried to charge me almost $55 for my flea med for my yellow lab alone! I saved big this year.
shopping4my3son Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I also use Ebay for my cat. I bought an 8 month supply for $25.
kselzer Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 My cats never go outside, we brought the fleas in the house last summer. We got an infestation. Never expected it since our cats never went outside. Of course at that time, I did not use any flea control.Same thing happened to me, we caught it rather quickly - before they even turned into full fleas, they were little worm things (YUCK!) But the vet told us what they were. Since then I've always used Frontline. Thanks for the deal!
debmills93 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 A friend told me that she saw a report on the news a while back that some of the online places send out dated meds. Has anyone had any bad experiences? I'd like to order the flea stuff, but want to be sure it will work!
kathybrad Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 The web site says this company has a Better Business Bureau rating of A. I trusted that and ordered from them. The BBB seal is on the right hand side about half way down the page.
