lostfan101
I wasn't able to find any reviews for this, but has anybody had any experience with this camera?http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5156026 It is a good price but I am concerned about quality. Any suggestions?
mrn8
What are you wanting to use it for? It's really a very low-quality camera. It has one aperature speed (f2.8), which is not good. You need a range to get consistently good pictures. It also does not have an optical zoom, which is a must. Digital zoom is worthless, and I actually turn it off on all of my cameras, because I don't like it when the zoom crosses from optical to digital. You need to spend at least $200 and get a brand name before you get a decent digicam. And definitely go for an optical zoom lense. Digital zoom just makes the image larger, complete with pixelation. mrn8
If you want any help finding a camera to fit your needs and budget, we'd be happy to help. The Canon A550 is a great camera, 4x optical zoom, 7.1mp, and it comes in around $180. There are even lower cost options, especially if you keep your eyes open for a good deal. biomajor
I really like the looks of the Fuji s6000. It's about $300 at Amazon, but it has a 10.7X Optical Zoom !! I love my Fuji 3200 and am just waiting for some reason to upgrade. I got caught in a rainstorm about a month ago and my camera still works great--maybe next time!!
