I want one. I'm trying to justify in my head spending $149 for a coffee pot. Do you really think it makes better coffee? Do you find that you are buying more beans than traditional coffee?

I have an older version and don't use it. Altho I love the fresh coffee. Reason: I use a separate grinder so I can grind the coffee finer. This way, my coffee beans go further, and it tastes much fresher than ground. The convenience in hte all in one ... wasn't worth the extra cost for coffee.

I bought one on BF and hated it. I retured it to Kohls soon after. I found it was WAY too loud (like a lawnmower was going off in the kitchen when it was grinding) which wasn't good at 5 AM and mine leaked (which based on amazon.com, was a frequest problem). So IMO, I would not waste the money.

Good Luck!

I'm on my second one. The first one gave out after about 5 years. Though I don't use the grind spot as often, because then I would have to clean everything out before I could use it again. So most of the time I just grind my beans in a smaller grinder. Also by doing it this way I use fewer beans because when it moves the ground coffee over to the basket to brew you lose alot of coffee.

But I love the other features. Like the 1-4 cup slower brew, makes coffee taste better. Also I just got a Brita Slim water filter for $5 at Walmart and wow it really makes a differance in the taste of the coffee. I buy gormet coffee from a local roaster. I love coffee!!!
