How can I get the new Samsung Blackjack phone with NO plan

I'm interested in buying the new Samsung Blackjack phone for my overseas friend so I don't want any plan, just the phone. Any ideas or suggestions on how I can get one cheap? Help!

Ebay is probably your best bet. Unless one of the cell phone deal web sites has a better offer for a phone without a plan (wirefly, etc.)

I did not see how you can purchase a phone for wirefly w/out a plan. It does not show a price for just the phone.

 

What are some other sites that phones can be purchased w/out plans? I've been to ebay, prices not that great; take too long to search for new phone w/ great price.

Ebay is prolly your best bet... The phone is still fairly new so more than likely you're not gonna find a good deal for it without a plan....We've got one and Dh still had to pay a pretty good price for it getting it at cost...

I bought my slvr off ebay - I have cingular and bought one from europe that is not registered with any company. The only difference is that the plug for the charger has an adapter, other than that it works fine with my service. It was also cheaper.

I bought my son a slvr l7 off ebay for Christmas. It works fine with our service, just needed to have the web stuff set up. I paid about $150 with shipping for it - about $100 less than anywhere else.
