lIQUIDICE63 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 hi Everyone. Does anyone have any ideas for what I can get for my mom and sister for their birthday? My mothers turning 44 and I was thinking of maybe a handbag. any other ideas are welcome. my sister is turning 16. I have no idea what to get her. my spending limit is mother ~$50 sister ~$30 Thanks for the help
biomajor Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Does your sister have an MP3 player, or a Karaoke machine? My almost 15 yo loves hers. I'm assuming she has a cell phone--maybe some ring tones? (the other thing she loves--over 2500 text messages last month, and 3000 minutes She also really likes her digital camera, but I think to get a decent one, it would be out of the budget range.
Guest koby Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Is your sister driving? How about a gas gift card? My DD loves her. Seems safer too when they are alone at a gas station. Or how about giftcards to Panera, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, etc. You could wrap them in a creative way and make it really cute. Or an awesome picture frame with a "sister" theme and a special picture of the 2 of you. Have fun!

jarerice Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 If you have a Belk near you...they always have great deals on handbags. got my mom a Stone Mountain for around $20.00. That way you could get her some flowers and candy to go with it.
preacherswife2 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 As a mother near your Mom's age I would say something that thanks her for being your Mom. Last year my Daughter got me a Mothers ring with space on it for my grandkids someday, I love it!!! She has in years past done things like pillows and pictures that say things about Mothers and Daughters on them, I love each one of them because they came from her and are part of her heart. Maybe a picture frame with a picture of you as a child and of you today or if you scrap book do a page that can be put into a frame. Even a day at the spa that you both can spend time at, getting your toe nails done is always fun! Then maybe treat her to lunch.
Guest radrobert Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 What about Movie or Resturant Gift Cards.
