mywarmbluefleece Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I love Post-Its! Is Staples open New Years Eve and New Years Day?
First Lady Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Are they going to be giving out rainchecks?? Becuase I am sure if I am not there first thing tomorrow morning, the stuff will be gone in an hour or so! And who knows if they'll get more in before the sale is over.
kjunea Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 WOW!! This is a list that any teacher would love.... Now if they had just included Expo markers......
mywarmbluefleece Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Are they going to be giving out rainchecks?? Becuase I am sure if I am not there first thing tomorrow morning, the stuff will be gone in an hour or so! And who knows if they'll get more in before the sale is over. The ad said while supplies last and most things have a limit of two. I am bringing my brother (though he does not yet know this).
Deal Grabber Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 WOW i was there at door opening and so was everyone else(LOL).Its amazing what ppl will do for a sale.I did get everything advertised for .99.There was a older gentleman there he says i dont even need this stuff but at this price i just wanted it,I was cracking up.
ww4b Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Went to Staples about an hour ago and there was plenty of everything left.
Swampbaby Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I hit our Staples about 4 this afternoon. Unless there is a large supply in the back room I'm afraid things will sell out long before the final date. One neat thing I picked up was the little "First Aid" kit for 99 cents. It will be perfect to stash in a suitcase to have "just in case". Got a couple packs of the bubble mailers plus several Rub-A-Dub pens (with a youth organization that requires clothes to be marked those are always needed) as well as many other items. Then called a couple of school teachers I know who will be making their way to Staples for sure.
sigrist_2000 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 after all my worrying earlier...got everything i wanted at 99cents and then some...even got some christmas giant bags for 1.90 (50% off)
natthas Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 "First Aid" kit for 99 cents??? I have to drop by agian. I went to staples at 12:00. There was plenty of everything left.
mykayak Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 It's a little Johnson & Johnson first aid kid. CVS also sells these in their trial size section, that's where I got mine. My staples had a barrell full of most of the items.
Christy Garner Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I am a school teacher and will definitely visit Staples to stock up. I will check them out tomorrow in hopes that they will be open on New Years Day.
balraven Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I used the Office Depot $5 off $5 at Staples, and my $8 bill became $3. The manager was an absolute jerk and said he had never heard of Staples accepting competitors' coupons, but he finally gave in. Every other Staples I have been to does this coupon matching without issue!
hannahs_momma Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 YOu can buy online too Just imput the product numbers
JJ_61755 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Anyone have the item # for the Avery binders? Thanks.
laffnatu Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Anyone have the item # for the Avery binders? Thanks. Sorry, but it says Assorted SKUs for the binders on the front of the sales paper. ** I tried some of the numbers on the front of the sales paper and it said they were invalid. So maybe that isn't the numbers that you will need.
ewiz06 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 YOu can buy online tooJust imput the product numbers I got a couple of the post-its online w/ free shipping via Staples rewards. Some of the other skus from the sales paper were invalid and items like the mailing envelopes were out of stock.
drmad7 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I just called Staples and they are open today! I'm on my way!
chwk Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Thanks elite2058 I took 2 teenagers with me and got 6 of each item we wanted PS the clearance was an additional 50% the reduced clearance price.
elite2058 Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 Your welcome chwk, every little bit saved helps.:)
mdcrim Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Thanks elite2058 I took 2 teenagers with me and got 6 of each item we wanted I tried this at my Staples (loading my husband up w/ 2 items and me w/ 2 of the same items. The lady at the register refused to sell my husbands to us- she said that Staples policy was 2 items per HOUSEHOLD, not 2 items per customer. Needless to say, we drove the 5 miles to the next Staples and traded off going in. In retrospect, I probably could have argued the point (the add said 2 per customer), but it was early and I didn't feel like fighting...
