nikkilugi Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Does anyone know Walmart's policy on price adjusting items that go on clearance? I know that Target has made me return and repurchase items that have gone on clearance after I have bought them - I was wondering what Walmart requires? Basically do I need to bring the product with me or will just the receipt do? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
Melissa Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I never heard of getting a price adjustment when something goes on clearance. That is generally only done if something goes on sale within a certain time frame after you've purchased it.
nikkilugi Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 Ok so I will bring back the product and return it and then repurchase. That is ok since we haven't opened it yet.
mahalia52 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 i have done that on rare occasion, you have to return the item, then repurchase at lower price.
CagedMonkey Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 My DH bought me a flat screen tv that is now $50 less. I was going to check with WM and if they won't do the price adjustment I'll just buy the tv and return it with my DH's first receipt. Macy's and The Gap do price adjustments all the time. Why not WM?
