Gloey
I know most of you know how much I hate where I work, but this year they've decided not even to give us a Christmas party! Can you imagine!???? I just think its the tackiest thing I've ever heard. It might as well not even be Christmas there. Sorry, just had to vent. Guest mldepalma
Maybe you should should wear your "jingle bells" everyday to try to spark a little holiday cheer... (Or maybe just spike the coffee? LOL)
ms_mckenna
Well that is no good gloey And OMG a woman I used to work with wore jingle bells on her shoes every day during December. I worked two jobs and she worked at both of them. By the end of the day when I worked with her both places you can imagine where I wanted to put those bells

cotejb
The radio station here calls people who are being scrooges and sings christmas carols to them..You should call your radio station and see if they will do that...If your office people are still scrooges afterward, at least it was funny... :)
Jennifer0530
I know how you feel! We use to get a christmas dinner at a nice restrauant but they stopped doing that like 3 years ago and went to giving us $100.00 in cash with our paychecks before Christmas. This year we didn't get anything! The thing that bothers me the most is that they send money to a couple customers for their Christmas parties, they also deliver plants and fruit baskets to a lot of our customers as a thank you for doing business with us this year. I guess I just don't understand why you would do for other companies employees but not your own.
glitterstarr
I've noticed a lot of businesses this year that aren't having parties, not even doing decorations of any kind because they don't want to be sued by people who get offended this time of year. I noticed in the big city over from where I live they don't even have their decorations up on the streets this year. It's sad but you can't please everyone so they are just taking the option of not doing anything that way they have all bases covered. And yesterday I told my husband while we were out shopping that it just didn't seem like Christmas to me while shopping this year because your businesses aren't all that festive like in years past and that in a couple of years you won't see any sign of Christmas except in your own home. Don't let it ruin the Holidays for you and keep the spirit of the season inside you and continue celebrating.
migirlfriday
I put up our tree at work and decorated a little, but no party, no bonus, no gift. Our company is not doing all that well, so it was expected.

Gloey
I got a couple things today at work, a stack of lottery cards from one of the guys I work for and a $50 Carson's gift card from another. I knew they would get me something, but its just the two guys that own this place that are such scrooges. They should call the firm Scrooge & Marley. What would it hurt to bring in a lunch tray and have some booze at lunch for a little spirit!
Sunshyne
My husband's work has two parties, but that doesn't mean they have any Christmas spirit there! They have one fancy one at night where the door prizes are gift cards and the same people win every year, and then one at the building was today. He doesn't get a gift from his boss, but the boss (also owner) gets every woman who works there something! Really nice high-end stuff too. It's such a joke.
