$25 CompUSA gift card

I won a $25 CompUSA gift card on here. CompUSA gift cards cannot be redeemed online and I don't have a CompUSA anywhere near me so I'd like to trade it for another gift card of the same (or at least close to it) balance...or just whatever else ya have, lol.

Yes, I know that this thread is a year old but I still have this gift card if anyone wants to trade. I called and checked the balance to make sure there is no *penalty* for not using it for so long and there's not. It still has the entire $25 on it. Again, this card cannot be used online because CompUSA just doesn't let you use gift cards online. It must be used in store.

They don't let you use them online? That's nuts...I have a 50 dollar card for there that I got last year...none close enough to bother using...I figured I'd use it online eventually...but, guess I won't be doing that now...

I know, it's crazy but you really can't use them online. I don't think I've ever heard of a retailer not allowing you to use one of their own gift cards on their website.

Well, I just called and nope...they can only be redeemed in stores. Thanks for the idea though, I hadn't even thought of trying to use it by calling.

I have lots of free product coupons and BOGO coupons if you're interested in trading. That is the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard! They're just cutting their own throats by doing this - there is not one near me either. CompUSA needs to get in the 21st century!!!
