reportermomof3
I've seen other game systems' controllers on sale, but not the Gamecube's. Thanks!
imgamehere
I recently learned that Game Cube wireless controllers rarely go on sale. PS, XBox, etc. have numerous companies making controllers for those systems, competing against each other. Only Nintendo makes Game Cube controllers, which means no competition for lower prices. I have the same model for my PS2 and I really like the controller, its not made to cheaply and fits your hands nice.
amyers12345
When we were shopping for them for my son's b-day, at one walmart, they had a $20 generic one. Of course we went to a different WM that didn't carry them when we bought his. It was $30. They had them on clearance a couple of weeks ago. You may try a pawn shop or used game store. mamapenguin
I agree Waivebird is the best. I bought one at regular price & the other I bought used from either EB or Gamestop's website. It works just as well as the one I bought new. I would check my local EBs & Gamestops for a used one or however many you want.

fairydustcrissy
The Wavebir is only 19.99 at Target regular price. It always has been, not sure why. But thats where I've gotten mine in the past. A price cut to $14 may just warrant another one, lol.

1seeker1
Mine was $30. The response is as good as a wired controller. (just as a side note the rumble feature doesn't work on wireless controllers)
