f1rstclass Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Hey all.. I am wanting to purchase one of the TV's that Best Buy has on sale this week. Problem is, I checked online today to see if they were in stock and they are not. Does Best Buy replenish their stock pretty rapidly? I am going down to BB this coming Friday afternoon. Any/all help greatly appreciated as always!
jkramer8 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I checked on line for a laptop that I wanted to purchase for a great price. It said sold out and not available for store pick up. I decided to go to the store to check it out....they had a ton of them...you may want to go to the store and check it out. Just an idea.....
sigrist_2000 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 i noticed that the bigger items..if they are on sale your best bet is to go to the store itself...cheaper on the store this way on shipping and transportation...

Never thought about that---I will give 'em a call Thursday before travelling 1 hr and 30 min. down there.. S/H is a killer at 45.00 bucks!! DANG!! I figured it would be cheaper going and picking it up than to have it shipped.
laffnatu Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 If something happens and they don't have it in the store, they will order it for you also.
RossMAN Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Moved to Deal Discussion forum as this isn't an offline hot deal.
Melissa Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Best Buy is notorious for being "sold out", both in-store and online, on the very first day of an advertised sale.
jkwier Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 If you have a Sears nearby, take the ad with you and Sears will price match if they have the same TV. They also discount 10% of the difference. On Black Friday, my husband printed off the unadvertised Best Buy add for the Panasonic 42" plasma for $999. Sears had it on sale for $1499. After price match and the 10% disount, he got it for $950 plus tax.
