brynnfromtheblock Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Need ideas for a gift for my mom, she's a 55yoa Executive who works countless hours and spends very little time for herself, she never sits still/stops moving. I want to spend about $150 and would like to find something for her to relax and enjoy..any ideas?
biomajor Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 How about a gift certificate to a DaySpa? you can get one from spawish that works for lots of spas (check the list to make sure that there is something in her area) they have outrageous shipping though!! Or how about one of the Shiatsu Massagers that go in her chair? She can ever use it in her office chair. Some nice relaxing candles always make me happy or a couple of Gift certificates to a decent place to eat.
Guest Luckycharm Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Day Spa is my vote! It's a great way to Relax!
brynnfromtheblock Posted December 9, 2004 Author Posted December 9, 2004 She has a boyfriend that does a spa thing alot of the time (he like me doesn't know what to get her) the massager sounds good but I don't know if she'd sit still long enough to use it!!
DLM Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 How about a handbag or some nice jewelry? Cashmere is always nice too. Good Luck, Darla

gitmogecko Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 If she has her nails done, go there and pay for so many trips or the same at the hairdresser, etc. Then all she ever has to do is go and have it done.
cami_reardon Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 What about two nights at a Bed and Breakfast or a nice hotel nearby so she can get away for a weekend?
