amyers12345
I have been endlessly searching for Green Bay Packers merchandise for an elderly relative. She is 85. She is on oxygen and can't wear shirts that slip over her head. She lives alone and doesn't put up a tree so ornaments are out. She is already giving away many of her collectables. I have looked for a stationery set, and couldn't find anything. She bets $1 on each packers game and if she loses, she mails a dollar in a letter to all of her children/nieces/nephews, etc.. whoever is in on her game. I took the GB logo and customized her some address labels, printed her some envelopes, and made her some stationery. I just need ideas on what to put it in to keep it together. They are all loose sheets of paper, etc. I thought about one of those clipboards with the storage, but they're $10 at WM, and she will get angry if she thinks we spend much on her. HELP!! mrn8
What about just wrapping it all up in a green and yellow ribbon?
jarerice
how about a container from the $ tree.
shopping mom
I friend of mine uses cloth place mats to make stationary holders and then stamps the stationary as gifts. The right color mat with the ribbon to tie it shut would work for you.
amyers12345
How does she make them? I kind of wanted to put it in something that she could keep it all together in, since all of the paper is loose leaf.

shopping mom
How does she make them? I kind of wanted to put it in something that she could keep it all together in, since all of the paper is loose leaf.I was going to ask her tonight at church but they are home sick. Sorry. I am sure someone her can tell you though so many are good at crafts. I think she turns the bottom edge up an inch or two and stiches up the sides to form the pouch but I am not sure of the rest. I bet if you got a rectangular shaped place mat you could figure it out though.
amyers12345
great ideas! I'll have to look further into the placemat thing, thank you. and NFL colored M & M's? WOW! nice touch.
kbasketcr8r
What I would do is to cut a piece of strong cardboard the same size as the sheets, place it on the bottom of the pile of stationary, and then tie a wide ribbon around it (packers colors, of course). You could tie some curling ribbon in the center of the ribbon you use to tie the package down with. (If that makes sense).
hopeky94
What about using a school folder? You could get one in a Packers color or may be able to find a nice one with the Packers actually on it! If there is too much to fit into one folder, you could get a small spiral notebook and folders that fit in the middle of it. And of course, you could decorate those up as little or as much as you want! A folder or notebook can be stored and accessed easily, and it would also be something she could use for other papers she may need to keep together (like bills, letters, pictures, recipes, etc)... HTH! Let us know what you decide to do!
