Hi all. I am trying to find some kind of music software for my son to make music beats or some software that h s music beats that he can add lyrics to basically having making his own music. Im not to familiar with anything of a sort and was hoping someone could help me find something along the lines. Software for a desktop pc. Help me!

I think Fruity Loops will probably be your best bet. You can check out their site at http://www.flstudio.com/. It's a little expensive at $149, so hopefully some one might be able to find a discount for it.

 

Ebay has it for about $80. You could keep checking there or Craigslist to see if you might be able to find a better deal.
