dmadms Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Looking for a good deal on a SEDU 1-1/2" hair straightener. My future DIL has this on her list ..... and I think it's way over my budget unless I can find a good deal! Thanks Dana
dmadms Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 Or if you have an opinion on a flat iron that would work - she has the walmart type and they don't work well on her hair. Thanks Dana
happy410 Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Do you have a Sallys close by? I had walmart type that didn't work well. Bought a nicer one at Sally Beauty Supply 40-50 dollars. Not sure if they carry this brand but its worth checking on. Good luck.
momo0725 Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 the chi straightner is a good one also.. still alittle pricey. they have it at linens and things for 120.00 and you can use a coupon for 20% off...you can also check ebay...
tlock1945 Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I have Paul Mitchell flat iron on my list, you can get one for around 100.00 on ebay. Salons sell them for 180.00! It works great!!
CagedMonkey Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 CHI makes the best straightener IMHO and my hairdressers. JC Penney had an ad in the Sunday paper for $20 off any retail product of $80 or more. They also are having a sale on Saturday 12/9 - 25% off all shampoos, conditioners, styling products, appliances, etc.
becca0884 Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Target has the CHI in their ad for $79.99 if you can find it in stock. (It's a seasonal item and only available until it's gone, no rain checks) I know several people who swear bu CHI.
Kat07 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I have a Farouk Chi. It is awesome! When I got it 4 years ago or so it was about $160. I was checking ebay the other day for a friend and they were going for about $60. I don't know what retail place would sell them.
