Guest RealLivePrinces
I have to be at work by 4am tomorrow morning, but I'll be on for a couple more hours if you have any final questions for a Kohl's associate. :) I'll also probably sign in right before I leave. I'm glad I could be helpful for this wonderful site, and I'll stick around through Christmas for return questions and our huge pre-holiday sale. If I've helped you personally, the best way to thank me is to show your appreciation for the many, many associates like me, who will be up and in the trenches bright and early tomorrow! Happy shopping, y'all.
ericamike
I wanted to ask you if all toys are 50% off? And do the toys go fast? What do you think? Are the lines generally long at 5am? Thanks so much
Guest RealLivePrinces
I wanted to ask you if all toys are 50% off? And do the toys go fast? What do you think? Are the lines generally long at 5am?No, not all. The ad says Fisher Price, Barbie, Playschool, Tonka and Crayola. I'm pretty sure there's more, but I work on the other side of the store. The toys specifically pictured in the ads always go in minutes. After that... it depends on your store. We're not expecting toys to be the huge destination it was last year, but I would probably be there at opening if you have your heart set on something. If you're just there generally, you should still have a pretty decent selection at 7am. Most stores have 2 doors on each side. Lines have been known to cross each other in the back of the store as we open the doors. I went shopping this past Friday and used a 15% coupon. Can I get a price adjustment on BF, still get the 15% discount and $10 gift cards or do I need to buy it again and return the others? That depends on your store. My store is NOT doing price adjustments on BF doorbuster prices. The one closest to me, however, is. Your best bet is to: 1. Call your local store. Hit #6 or #0 immediately to skip the message. Customer Service will pick up. Make sure you get their name. You can ask to speak to a manager if you like, but those employees are second only to jewelry in the amount of training even the newbies go through before getting behind that desk. They know their stuff. 2. Come in during advertised early bird prices. The crowds generally taper off from 10:30-11:30 for best parking. 3. Even if they won't price match, you can still do a return and buy back for the gift cards. But you will have to get in line at normal registers to repurchase and you probably will not get your coupon back (be really, really nice to the customer service associate and they might do so. I would). You can always try the "I left it at home" excuse, but employees can grant that on their own perogative and most won't. Yeah, it's a pain and annoying to customers who genuinely didn't know items would be lower, but we do it this way to make sure we have a lot in stock on Friday. :)

Guest RealLivePrinces
How about the the kitched aid classic mixer? Do you think that will fly?Do you mean, will it be popular? Oh yeah. I was talking with the supervisor of that department Wednesday night, and she mentioned she'd gotten 20 phone calls about that just that night. But we have a lot of them, too. Do you have any idea what people really want from Kohl's this year?Well, people always go toward doorbuster electronics, toys, jewelry and Christmas giftwrap. If people are going for the electronics, they usually wait in line at 4am, walk in, get it, and go to Wal-Mart. lol. The other items people linger for. I have to say, though, I haven't heard a lot of buzz about the digital frame. But keep in mind, all my advice is for my store on the west coast. mrn8
The 7' prelit Christmas tree that's going to be $69.99...is that decent or does is look really cheap and fake? I'm tempted by it, but don't want to be disappointed by it.
Guest RealLivePrinces
Well, I've only ever seen it decorated to the nines (we have a little party every year where we decorate the trees), and it looks lovely that way....All of our trees are actually much nicer this year than last. Even the mini hot pink one.

Guest RealLivePrinces
The frame should be with cameras, in front of the store. I don't think it's available online. Thanks, everyone. :)

I use one myself, and I like it. :) I avoid feather beds, though. can you get the mail in rebates when you order on line? The item has to specifically say it. Otherwise no.
