The only thing I have seen is the ads saying they have "after Thanksgiving prices" available before Thanksgiving (i.e. last weekend). I've actually never been there on BF - I think I have probably pricematched dvds at Walmart though. I wonder how insanely busy the Legends will be this year - probably will take some of the heat off other areas, which is good for me! :yup:

Me too!!! Where are you headed?

amyers- As far as stores go...not 100% sure on it. Hoping to buy online at walmart, then probably target...thought about bath and body works. I don't know. Once I get the ads in my hot little hands, then I'll have to figure it out. I'm not planning on buying any electronics this year...although I said that last year and ended up spending the night at best buy getting a digital camara and a computer. I will be reworking my plans and strategizing up until bedtime on Thursday!!

Do you have your game plan ready?? :)

not really.. my dh goes, and now we're w/o a sitter. I recommend that if you are going to WM, head back down to Marshfield (or buffalo- old small walmart). It's a brand new SC, and it will be a lot less crowded than springfield. Springfield is crazy, we try to pm everything at WM and Sears, and then head to Spfd for other things. My only advice is to stay CLEAR of Bass Pro. Also, we had thought about hitting Branson this year because of the new Landing, and the outlet malls. They also have an old regular walmart and a SC, and a brand new Target too. Oh, there's a new bass pro there also. Branson isn't that crowded in the winter.

I haven't been to Branson on BF, but I've heard from other people in line before that it can get pretty crazy. I think alot of people from Spfld go to the outlet malls for the sales. I don't know what kind of sales they have though.

I haven't been to a walmart on BF suprisingly. I've always managed to avoid it. If I was to go, I considered going to the one over on east Kearney because it's not a supercenter so it's a little less crowded from what I hear. I'm hoping I can get the few things I want online that morning so I won't have to mess with actually going there. I dunno...nothings for sure...I just want tomorrow to hurry and get here so I can start tearing through the ads! :cheesy:

On the bright side, if you go to that walmart, it's just across the street to Ryan's breakfast buffet. I haven't ever talked to anyone who goes to Branson. If we hit the outlets, we head up to lake of the ozarks. Last year, we did take the kids to Splash Country Indoors in February, and got amazing deals at the outlet. I haven't had to buy my kids clothes at all this winter. Most things were from TCP and tommy, and were less than $3.00.

We always go to Lebanon, but this year i'm leaning more towards marshfield. We did try Springfield once, my second year, and didn't get anything we went after and stood in line for hours.

What time will you get the paper in the morning? ours doesn't get to the store until around 6.

I'm staying with my mom since I live in KC now, and she gets the paper delivered...she said it will be here around 5am. I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight...and tomorrow night! Oh well, I'll catch up on sleep later in the weekend. I plan on going to Gordmans on Saturday for the "anything you can fit into a bag, 25% off" thing. I go every year and love it!!!

Those are some great deals on clothes!!! I have such a hard time buying in advance for my 5 yo DD. I used to do it when she was younger, but she ended up being a pretty tall kid, and any clothes I bought out of season for the next year would be too small by the time the next year rolled around! I'm getting a better handle on it though, so I might have to start doing that again.
