LadyIzShy Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 i didnt know emachines made a laptop.. hmm.. will have to take a look around the web and see what i find out
Thesurgeon Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 E machines are not very reliable computer, You end up spending more on repair than what you spent initially.
LadyIzShy Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 I know I have had nothing but trouble with Emachine desktop, but I heard sincetheywere bought by gateway things have gotten better. I REALLY had no clue they even made laptops. I was not in the market for a laptop, BUT. its not outta the question. I could sell my desktop to recover some of the costAND make a teenlet happy in the bargin
trpleee Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 I've been buying emachine computers for over 6 years and have never had a problem. My youngest is using the 6yr old computer for kid games and it works fine. They're like any other computer, prone to break. Check consumer reports, you'll see they're actually rated good. I also didn't know they had a laptop, wonder if it will be one of the doorbuster deals announced in the AM?!?
Arkie54 Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 One of our Supercenters has one on clearance for $299.99. It's one that has been on the shelf for months. Larry
