Well...i ask this simple question cuz i ALWAYS get confused when it comes to buying printers, I just don't know much about em.

I am basically looking for a Black and White Printer for printing papers and documents. I am open to a quality inkjet or laser (but am obviously lookin for a GOOD DEAL in the BF sales)----> lookin to stay under the $200 range so 50-200, and want to get a low cost to run printer(which i hear rules out ALL lexmarks)....does anyone have any suggestions, OTHER than randomly just picking the cheaepet BF printer there is, PLEASE.... :fluffy: :fluffy:

i know the ins and outs of all the hardware inside the computer case...but damn printers..argh

thanks in advance:D

Staples will have the Samsung ML-2010 laser printer for $40 again on Black Friday. This is a relatively highly rated printer.

The main drawback is that the toner is more expensive than other brands, and due to proprietary components on the toner cartridge, cheaper 3rd party cartridges aren't available. It is still much cheaper to run than an inkjet, of course. (inkjet ink for consumer models is a complete rip-off)

I highly recommend the Samsung ML-2010. You can get compatible toner for it, though. I get mine from here: http://www.4inkjets.com/Samsung,ML-Printers,ML-2010,Laser-Toner,2473,printer.html

It's a bit noisy when it's printing and warming up, but for the cheap cost of printing with it, I can deal with that.

If you want network capability, you can't beat the Brother HL-2070N printer. It's currently #122.99 shipped from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Brother-HL-2070N-Network-Monochrome-Printer/dp/B0007KNZ8M/sr=1-3/qid=1164179179/ref=sr_1_3/002-1869605-7968024?ie=UTF8&s=electronics
