Know of any deals on tires?

We need a set of tires for our car. Anybody know any "deals" on tires for black Friday and/or rebates with or without black Friday in mind?

Have you checked with your local CostCo or Sam's Club? They usually have $50 - $200 off tires with free installation.

Thank you! We do have a Sam's. We don't have a Sam's card. But if the price is substantially less, it would be worth to get the card for a year for the tires!

If you're near a Sears, I believe they'll have many, if not all tires, on sale this weekend. We just bought 2 Goodyear's there for my daughter's car.

I have to agree with that. They currently have a $40 rebate on purchase of 4 Goodyear tires.

Sam's Club is a great place to buy tires. Periodically they run promotions for so much off. In October I got $50 off four tires & no interest/payments for 6 months on my Sam's Club card. Also the $50 off was given immediately at checkout - it was not a mail-in rebate.

 

If you go there make sure to purchase the road hazard protection, I believe it's like $8 per tire. I have used this twice with no run-around, they look at the tire wear and tear based on the tire depth and give you a credit towards purchasing a new tire if you bust your tire for any reason. A few years ago I popped my tire after hitting a sewer drain on a corner about a week after I bought my tires and they gave me a new one free (only had to pay state-mandated disposal fee). Another time I ran over a nail, and I only had to pay about half the cost of a tire because I had the tires for a while.
