goudybug
I purchased the 42in Panasonic Plasma online yesterday. A co-worker just informed me that there are very expensive cables I will need in order to plug the tv to digital cable, dvd player, etc. Does anyone know what cables I will need and where is a good place to purchase...tv will be delivered on Friday by cc. Thanks for your help.

RossMAN
You'll probably need component and/or HDMI cables, I would recommend http://www.monoprice.com Also read this thread http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=56512
triplestar
Panasonic Plasma Tv's is one of the best out there, don't go to cheap on your cables. HDMI for best picture, digital componet cables will also work pretty good. Don't forget ebay!
wolfdevil
For you gamers out there, I hooked up the regular Xbox to it by a component video connection. Links 2004 and ESPN NFL 2K5 are absolutely incredibile.
tipstir
If you live in the USA/Canada you can go to either Target or Walmart and get the cables there you need. You don't have to spend a lot to enjoy excellent picture on LCD, Plasma or DLP SDTV/HDTV. Philips Ultra/Pro (Walmart) or GE Ultra Pro (Target) cables will give you the same as the very expensive Monster and etc.. HDMI cable cost $31 bucks at Walmart using Philips Ultra 24K gold plated HDMI as they sell the Philips Pro Series at $64 for HDMI.
