If you are like me, and you are from a state where Tiger has a presence, then you have to pay state sales tax, along with shipping charges which they dictate. A little known fact is that they ship most of their items from a warehouse in Illinois! By getting items from Amazon, you basically get some of tiger direct's stockage minus these mandatory charges! When I found the identical monitor on Amazon, the initial price was the same, but the rebate offered was only for $70. Compare both before purchasing! See if with shipping/taxes which will be cheaper in the long run. Also many people have Amazon gift cards, obviously you cannot use them on TD.com website. In this instance, Amazon was more expensive on total cost AND shipping! Taxes for some people could tilt it the other way depending on where you live.
