candlesbytammy1
I would like your suggestions on what to do for entertainment. This will be my first time hosting T-day and I would like to have an activity or acitivities for us all to do. We could argue over what to watch on TV or argue over what movie to watch, but I would like some other entertaining ideas. There will be 5/6 adults and a 12 year old who thinks he is 20something and not a lot of room, we live in a trailer.

pastasalad
you could put a post it on everyones back with a word or phrase on it(they dont know what word or phrase it is) the only way to figure what the post it says is by asking yes or no questions to the other guests-its a fun way to pass the time and can be done while other activities are going on for example on a post-it, it might say "Christmas tree" another could say "turkey" "fruitcake" etc... you can make it have a theme or not-then as the day goes on ppl try and figure what the heck it says on their backs....make them funny, be creative most of all Have a HAPPY Thanksgiving.... elena_398
Scene It games are a blast or any board game (if you guys like that). When I host Thanksgiving, we don't really need entertainment. The guys go to the tv to watch sports and the ladies hang around my dining room table and talk. Kids go to the playroom. Sorry not much help. lol

Gator Pam
If it's all family members (or people who know each other pretty well), we like to play 'Who's Thankful?' Someone starts saying, "This year I am thankful for..." and list various things that have happened to another person in the room. The first person to correctly call out who it is that would be thankful for those things gets to go next. After everyone in the room has been done by someone else, then if there is anything else someone is thankful for that wasn't mentioned, they are given the opportunity to says thanks for that. Kellylumbard
sadly we dont usually play any games dh's family is a bit anti social and everyone usually just sits on the couch and watches tv. My family plays cards during holiday meal get togethers. This year the Chiefs have a turkey day game so I know the tv will have that on.

elena_398
Yes, I forgot about that one. When the kids are occupied and the guys are watching football, the ladies sit down with our coffee and plan where we are going on BF. LOL We split up to make sure we get everything we want. We write our lists and give the money needed to each other to cover costs
vonnyb
After dinner the guys usually watch football, the girls go through the paper to plan for BF, the kids run around or watch a movie.
