db8mommy Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 My husband wants one of these and I have NO CLUE what it even is, much less if there are any in the Black Friday ads. Can anyone help a no-so-electronically-inclined wife? TIA, Erin
Princess7915 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Are you sure it wasn't Tivo?? Don't know anything about at Vivo. Sorry
MandaJo111 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Definition of: VIVO card A display adapter with video in/video out capability.
H_Hancock Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Some nVidia cards have this capability, but ATI video cards have a deeper selection of cards with video-in/video-out capabilities. Their most versatile cards are their All-In-Wonder cards. ATI has an AIW card in almost each of their product lines, such as the X1600, X1800, etc. But here's a link to approx. 50 video cards at Newegg that all have VIVO capabilities: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048+1069409634&Subcategory=48&description=&Ntk=&srchInDesc=
db8mommy Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 Thanks! Since AMD just acquired ATI and hubby works for AMD, I'll definately look into one of the ATI cards! Erin
