Ok which items on the list do you think will cause this years fights?

 

I'm voting the big superman. Cabbage patch. Big doodle bear and big brat doll

The Cabbage Patch Doll and maybe the Little People Fun Pack thingie.

 

And of course being the thrill seeker I am I will be trying to get a Cabbage Patch Doll. Wish me luck! Last year I was really lucky and went to WalMart around 7am and there were still several left. This year since there are other items I want I think I will go to the SuperCenter in the state next door and wait in the warm store.

 

Maybe place PM items in my cart while I wait.

 

There is a five year old in the family that we are sponsoring and all she wants is a pink dress for tea parties, and a doll baby.

I want to pick up the Cabbage patch and some other cheap toys for the toys for tots drive. I like being able to give more with what I can afford. The toy list has a lot of good ones but I think Dora needs to be my first stop. Thinking Hubby and I could use a bike since I got my oldest a bike she will get next week for her birthday. I haven't been on a bike in 10 years because I was so over weight. Now that I lost all the weight I'm ready to go at it again :)

Last year our store went thru the CB in less then 5min!!! It was crazy. I thought for sure I was gonna get injured.

I first went to WalMart around 4:30am. (I woke up late) I saw the two double lines lol and left to go to Macys. On my way home I passed by WalMart and decided to go in just to see if any were left. Went in nothing then saw one on top of some boxes and two ladies eyeing it ready to jump. In the corner of my eye I see a young lady pulling over a bunch of them just as they made an announcement they had more.

 

I picked up one and left to check out. Someone said they had found them in the back so I am sure if they had been out when the store opened they would have been gone. At the check out I saw one that someone had left and it had the birthdate of my best friends daughter so I got it for her.

I think the $50 dvd player, and cabbage patch ,I got one last year is this the same one?

I got smacked with a Cabbage Patch. :cheesy: People get just a little too crazy about the baby dolls. :razz:

Im going after some cabbage patch kids but Im not concerned last year they still had some later in the evening and a couple days later they had some on the shelves still. Those were the preemie newborns special edition, cant really tell which ones their having this year, is it kids or babies?

 

Im still going to line up for them, shouldnt be an issue, Im in a small town anyway.

If anyone has ever been at Best buy on BF you will know its crazy, people standing in line all nite, just to have someone who just parked cut in line, nothing worse then LINE CUTTERS!!!! People get mad and yell..always a scene.. anywhere you have tons of over tired people there will be riots!!!

unless walmart releases a sale flyer with other stuff in it i don't think they will have to worry about riots -lol saving $5 isn't worth fighting over:chairshot

I am hoping that the GameBoy Micros, iDogs, and bikes are easy to get, but that's just wishful thinking.LOL I will also be trying to get a few other things, but, I think those ar the ones that will be causing the most drama.

if the stores get any tmx elmo's then it's gonna be granny's swingin some canes but where i live the cabbage patches were not big at all now the brat's whole line was

I would like to see the Cloe 24 inch doll before buying it. I already bought my daughter the #19.99 talking cloe doll. Not sure if she really needs this one too. (She has roughly 30 different Bratz dolls as it is). I am just surprised no vehicles on sale or accessories.

It'd be kind of crazy if people fight over the Superman figure. It just sat there for quite a while and has even been on clearance. Granted it's not going for $15, but it has been $25. If people haven't picked it up already and are willing to fight over $10 extra off from a movie based Superman, people need to find something better to do with their time.

 

I figure it'll mostly be the electronics that does it like usual. Plus if any store happens to have any of the new game systems, that will also cause some fights. Doubt they'll have them, but there's always those people there looking.

It's funny, on Friday my toy DM said about the same thing. These just sat on the shelf and no one wanted them, then they saw them on TV and now everyone wants one. When I tell them I'm out, they look at me like I'm out of my mind.

Thats gotta be my first stop as well my little lady just loves Dora if I get Dora, the hot wheels for my little man, and a vac I will be thrilled......and of course I really need to get the jeans they are having on sale as well :) Last year our cb dolls went in less than 5 mins I was standing right there and got what I needed but I dont have to get any of them this year cause I got the ones on sale at amazon a while back for 2.20 so the girls each have about 3 lol

Wanna get the good deals? Put on some "deer scent" the hunter's wear when hunting male deer. NO ONE will be able to be around you and you'll get all the deals.

You will stink for 3 days, but it's bf.... who cares!

(it's female deer urine; walmart sells it for $4)
