basketrn Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Last year I went the night before Thanksgiving to our local Toys R Us store and bought the items that were on the sales ad for black friday. Then on Friday I went in and got a price adjustment. Do you think I will be able to do it again this year? Has anyone else done this? Or did I just geat REALLY lucky??
mfcrowe Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I've never tried it, but it sounds like a great idea! I would definitely ask the store manager prior to shopping and wasting your time.
elena_398 Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Possibly. I think it would depend on the manager. Also, if you did it last year, why not?!
vampygirl Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 My TRU here in Michigan said they honor price adjustments purchased within 14 days and said they would be including BF :)
gregus28 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 ok now that i saw the walmart ad and nothing thrilled me, anyword on the toy r us bf ad?
luv2shopnc Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Not that I know of but TRU has a pretty good sale right now, especially if you use those $5 coupons that you can print online. For ex. they had a diamond bratz doll for 24.99 but with coupon I paid 19.99 which is 1 cent cheaper than Walmart will have them on BF. Marked off my list and didn't have to get up early to get it! SWEET!
cindywilson1969 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Where do you get the $5.00 coupon at?

lelee24 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I did the buy early and get a price adjustment on BF last year too....I tried it just in case what I wanted was gone when i got there on BF. No problem....
blssed2bme Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 This would be great because all TRU had that I want on BF is the roll up piano, the DVD player with the 20 movies and the WWE 4 pack. Maybe I'll go buy them this weekend and go back on BF for the price adjustment.
aj2005 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 What to you have to do to receive the price adjustment? If all you have to bring in your receipt…. that is really a great idea!
elena_398 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I'd still check with your local TRU. I of course wouldn't tell them you have the BF ad, but say if I bought XXXXX and if it goes on sale could I price adjust. Get the name of the person also you talk to
