is there a best time to purchase retailer gift cards?

I just added up long distance family that I'd like to just give gift cards too. Is there a good way to purchase mass quantities?

Last year in early December, several of the restaurant chains added deals.. Example get an extra $5 card (that carried restrictions, but the help didnt know it) for every $20 (Fuddruckers) or pay $45 for $50 (Darden, Fridays.) Was on their websites. Wait til early Dec if you are looking for restaurnats.

 

AAA-- if you are a member-- sells GCs at 5% off-- various retailers- pretty quick delivery time.

hmmm i didnt know that about AAA Ty for the mention We have the cards and other then a tow once I dont think we have ever used it much

Just make sure that if you purchase them early, you remember where you stashed them...(speaking from experience).

If you have an Entertainment Book (or know someone who does), you can buy gift cards from: Linens & Things, Macy's, and Bahama Breeze/Olive Garden/Red Lobster/Smokey Bones for 10% off. The gift cards are all for $50 (but you pay $45 each).

 

There is a $1.00 s&h charge per order.

 

I used slashes ("/") between Bahama Breeze/Olive Garden/Red Lobster/Smokey Bones because they are all owned by the same company, and their gift cards can be used at any of the 4 restraunts -- it's just a matter of which picture you want on the card.

One of the grocery stores here has all kinds of gift cards and for every 50.00 you spend you get .10 off gas at their gas station maybe you might have soemthing like that where you live
