Your thoughts on some stores opening at 12AM on Black Friday

I live in Southern California and there are alot of gangs and other trouble makers hanging out around that time which means I could be a victim of a freeway shooting, drive-by, carjacking, drunken brawl, etc so I will not be part of the 12AM opening but I'm interested in what you folks think about the changes.

There aren't any gangs the places I go to. I don't mind the stores opening at midnight. I bet the employees of those stores have something to say.
