One of the reasons I preferred this site in years past is because you guys weren't afraid to post scans of the ads. Other sites either refused to post scans and/or price lists, or posted them but took them down quickly after receiving 'legal threats' from the stores in question. So, did Gottadeal.com get threatened by stores for posting ads (I'm assuming you did, given all the press attention you got), and why/how did you resist? Just curious . . . Oh, and thanks! Brad Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 We post whatever scanned ads and lists that we receive, and if a store contacts us and demands that they be removed, we remove them and will put them back up a few days before BF.
