brynnfromtheblock
Who has the best selection and price on photo cards for Christmas? or do you think it's better to just put the picture in one of those premade Christmas photo cards? I can't decide how I want to do it... I think I'm going to buy some of the handmade photo holder cards at Costco and stick my own pictures in them.. but I'm not sure... what's the best way? mom395222
I've never done them myself, but I know when receiving them I personally prefer to get a card with the picture in it, only because I have a hanger for my cards, and I don't like hangin the picture cards. When they're are seperate I can hang the card, and put the picture in an album :)
christmasangel
I did picture cards 2 years ago- I found that Walgreens had the best price AND the imprinted message was free!
Turtle Mommy
Walmart has pretty good prices too.
ms_mckenna
What about altering your own so your card is just the picture with writing on it? You could do them in your photo program and then have them printed at walmart or cvs or whereever has a good price that week? Given you would still have to buy envies. sevirj
If you (or someone you know) is handy w/Photoshop, you can put your written info on the picture itself (names, greeting, etc), then have regular reprints made, and stuff them into your own Christmas cards. If you choose to use the postcard style pictures with the greeting printed on the side, be sure to go somewhere that actually prints the greeting at the same time that the picture is printed (from the actual photo printer) instead of somewhere that prints the greeting separate with the foil machine. It can take longer for them, and sometimes the imprinting is not consistent. Also, don't wait until the last minute to have them printed. If there is high demand for people ordering cards where you have them printed, you might not get them in time to send out early enough that people get them before Christmas
blakes_mommy
Wally world did a pretty good job even though I am mad at them right now.
all4linkae
I do all my christmas cards in Paint Shop Pro....then I can get them printed pretty cheaply (although its cheaper to buy a stack of cards) but I enjoy making them :)
copados1993
This is the first year we will be doing them and right now I plan to go to CVS. Any idea how much they run and how many you get in a set?
