fulfam
Does anyone think the PSP will go on sale for BF? Just trying to figure out if I should wait and see or just get one whenever.
Guest Frieked
Maybe, maybe not. Already have mine so I don't care
ccarson1972
I know I was hoping to find it have a price drop before Christmas or a BF sale on it. I seen this bundle in Best Buys ad yesterday..http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1155848384620&skuId=8005053&type=productIt's not a bad deal if you plan on buying a 1 GB memoery stick($50 value)
stationchief
It's anyone's guess, but I think it will be on sale somewhere on BF, most likely for around $200 or less for just the basic system (no cames, extra cables, etc). The PSP and the Nintendo DS will both be doin' battle in the portable videogame wars this BF.
NeepNeep
I just checked a few places. CompUSA & Best Buy online are showing the PSP console (non-bundled) for $199.99. Wal-Mart has it for $199.24. I thought video game console pricing was pretty much at manufacturer's suggested retail, so they really don't have 'sales'. The only time you see a price drop is when the manufacturer reduces their retail, such as when the PS2 price dropped from $179.99 to $149.99, then to $129.99. sigrist_2000
if you are in the midwest and have a Meijer..i think last year they had one for 199.88. (either thanksgiving day or BF) they went as soon as the sale started...they are a 24 hour store... So i would think it would be on sale cheaper this year... Bestbuy7
i think it will be ...maybe 125 and a doorstopper.limitted quanity Like the person said before your reply ,its a manufacturer's suggested retail. Your not going to see it below 199.99[PSP only] or 249.99[PSP Bundle] unless sony lowers the price and of course a store decided to offer a mail-in-rebate. P.S. If your planning on getting a PSP i would say spend your 200 or 250 dollars on a ds and a ipod. I actually spent 250 on the psp and i must say i bought into the hype. The games are awful, the keys on the psp after time will get loose, the screen catches finger prints like crazy. Nintendo is surely taking charge of christmas sales this year. josetann
Sometimes there'll be a small price cut, but generally on game systems you'll see bundles. So for that $200 you may bet the PSP and a couple free games and a memory stick or something along those lines.
fulfam
Thanks for all the info, I have decided not to buy it for him, he does have a ds already and an mp3 player. I just thought it was good for movies and games on the same handheld. But like everyone else said I guess it probably won't get any cheaper so I'll just find something else to get him.
