Brad
Excellent first post, sajib :) You might want to consider this deal: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=46509 Upgrade the hard drive to 80GB and the combo drive to a DVD burner and your cost is $616 shipped. Has a Pentium M, 512MB RAM, 15" WXGA LCD and built-in WiFi.

Yep that's currently the best deal. I have seen the faster Dell Inspiron E1505 with Dual Core but that usually starts at $649 + upgraded options. Mike
Not sure when the Dell deal expires, but I would hold off until you see this weekends local ads. Labor Day is usually a big sale time for retail.
sunshiine
have you tried dell outlet? i bought mine (dell e1505) on there for $635 with: intel core solo (but there were duo's available) 2) 512 MB ram 3) 80GB HDD 4) CD/DVD Writer 5) 17" wide screen 6) WIFI, BUT no Bluetooth (BUT i saw some with that for a bit more) If you get on at the later hours, then you'll get a better deal.
