Mike
Last year I didn't have to open, but I just learned I will be pulling a 5:30am-6pm shift. Getting up at 5am to get an awsome deal is ok, but getting up at 5am to go to work for 12 hours blows.
Bostonsweety
Well I have to work thanksgiving from 5-9 and then at 12pm to 9 on friday. I'm hoping I can get in and out most stores and just shoot to work afterwards. If I'm late hey then its worth it.. LOL Good thing Friday is dress down otherwise I would be killing myself trying to run around in shoes. Lisa
Keebelf
not this year! Last year Chris had to work and, thankfully, Toys R Us is on his way and so he left super early and got in a few min. late but he got everything on the list! This year it will be Patrick's 2nd birthday so he is taking off for that, and the fact that my list is a little bit bigger this year!
marimacc
I consider myself super lucky to be able to work four 10 hour days, Mon-Thur, so I always have Friday off. If I didn't have it off, I would definitely take it off, but I understand that's not an option for a lot of people, especially those in retail. elena_398
Im a stay at home mom so I just have to worry about my husbands schedule. Thankfully he is a manager and he opts not to work on BF for me!! Love that promotion more every day!
Ebayordeath
I am a manager where I work and I do the schedule for my dept. I conveniently scheduled myself off for BF, but the higher ups decreed that all managers have to work BF, so I just threw myself in to close. Hopefully I can have all my shopping wrapped up by noon. n13n13
Mine might be - I won't know for another day or so. I just moved to a new position that works 8-5 so I may end up working that for BF. However I did request to close that day instead so who knows. I would really like to close so I can have the morning to do my crazy stuff! I was at Disney today and they are opening at 5! amdskip
Nope and I work at walmart! If I am working that day I probably won't have to go into work until 11 and I should surely be done shopping by then.
