ups^ Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I'm really interested in getting a 12" iBook (preferably one of the updated G4 models). Does anybody know if any place will have any on sale on BF? Thanks! ups^
Brad Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 You won't find any lower prices in any of the ads since like nearly all Apple products, they are price-fixed. So the best you can hope for is free stuff with the purchase of one or maybe an un-advertised in-store special. Really, your best bet is probably getting it from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002A6YVC (be sure to order through Amazon - not J&R - see menu on right side) for $899.99 after an Amazon-exclusive $100 rebate with free shipping and no tax for most states. I doubt you'll find any better deal on BF for such a new model... http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0002A6YVC.01.RB05.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

ups^ Posted November 21, 2004 Author Posted November 21, 2004 Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be getting one from the Apple Store with a student discount. For some odd reason the same configuration of iBook with a combo drive over a regular CD drive is about $20 cheaper. It's weird, but I'm not going to complain. :)

Out of curiosity are you going to pay for this with a VISA, MasterCard or Amex credit card?
ups^ Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 I haven't actually purchased it yet. After I'm done buying Christmas gifts, and if/when my brother pays me back the money he owes me for the parts for his Jeep, I'll re-evaluate my financial situation then and decide. If/when I do buy, it will be with my Visa credit card.
