Im not to smart about electronics so I have a couple of questions that maybe you could answer for me. Do I need any extra accessories to connect a dvd player, vcr and satellite? This model does include the bottom part right? (some I looked at, you had to purchase the stand extra) I Know I have to purchase the HDTV reciever extra but how does it work without the HDTV? Do I Have to purchase it? I have Dish Network and would like to use them. Sorry for so many questions but Im buying the tv for my husband for Christmas so I cant ask him these questions, lol. I have Dish Network and would like to use them. 1) As for connecting those things, you just need the cables which should have come with those components. 2) Yes, it is all one unit - no stand needed 3) Without the HDTV receiver it works like any other TV so you can use your satellite just like you are using it now. It even has dual-tuner picture-in-picture which is nice as well. And now you get a free $50 Amazon gift certificate as well with the purchase of any TV above $250.
