bugsette
Where the best place to buy school uniforms.... the white polo shirts and blue pants? Thanks
biomajor
Dollar General Store :) The polos are $5 or less and the pants depend on size but usually $5, $7.50 or $10. My nieces had to wear uniforms and I would buy their uniforms.

sbaldasare
Meijer's carries French Toast Brand and I believe they are on sale this week. Also if you have a Meijer credit card, you can get an extra 20% off today. Target carries French Toast as well. I usually find marked down shirts after school has started. That's a great way to get the next size up for cheap. Gymboree is carrying the school uniform clothes this year also. Their stuff looks nice - just a little to expensive for me. Land's End is always another option. There clothing wears well.
Firemansgal311
French toast (catalog and online) also has a school fundraiser option you might want to check on before your purchase. Old Navy carries a majority of school uniform supplies as well.

Anyone know a good place to find black loafers or nonathletic black shoes that will be comfortable and nice?

tootsieroll23
I got DS some French Toast shorts last year at Target for 2.50 each on clearance. So he will start out in those and I will look for the pants later. They can wear shorts until the end of Oct. here.
biomajor
dont schoools need to give an order form and tell you where to purchase them? do they need your childs name? Not around here--the uniforms aren't like the specific plaid or anything, but the uniforms are more like Navy Blue Pants and/or Khaki pants with White collared shirt or light blue collared shirt. When I was in high school we did have to order through the school, but only because it was a hunter green plaid 6 gored skirt and no one sold it anywhere else. When I was in grade school it was a 6 gored Navy shirt and white blouse, so mom would make the skirt.
Shortness
I get my uniforms on WalMart.com and Target online. I recently found acceptable pants at Kmart. Our local Wal Mart carries stuff, but it's only in the boys section. We get our polos there, as many do--but they look the same as the girls. Not the pants though. Sears.com also carries uniform wear, but I've never gotten anything from them.
biomajor
These prices aren't bad at all after you take the $20 off of $70 or $10 off of $40 with SCHOOLSAVE at Disneyshopping school Uniforms
Shortness
Right now, Target.com (online) is having a sale on school uniforms and offering free shipping on many of them. I just got 5 polo shirts for $5.50 each and FREE shipping. I posted in on Online deals, but wanted to mention here since this was an ongoing thread.
