I just came from there and bought the 8 pixel camera advertised for $179.99 and the 1. gb memory card for $30

 

Saw the notebook and a big nice screen. But I have never bought a laptop (not sure what the difference between a notebook and a laptop are) and was wondering if this price is a good deal?

Notebook and laptop are the same thing. Just like dinner and supper :)

 

That is a good deal, I would buy it. If you have an Entertainment coupon book, it should have a $10 off $40 coupon towards the back. I know it's only $10 but money doesn't grow on trees.

Actually, lunch = noontime meal, supper = evening meal....unless you're going out to eat, then...dinner = evening meal (as in, "We're going out to dinner.")

yeah i agree ..but i know someone who insists dinner is lunch not supper.. ok maybe its more like a brunch but between lunch and dinner?

The Dell Inspiron E1505 is better as it offers the Dual Core processor, DVD Burner, Windows Media Center Edition 2005 and optional video graphics card. But it's also $649 vs $499 or $399.

This always happens to me. You sweat it out to buy a computer and when you do the next day there is something better.

I went to Radio Shack and bought it. I also got a wireless router and a printer for free after rebate.

 

I forgot to ask about playing games on this. Will it be good for that? It's for my 10 year old daughter (she is paying for 1/2 of it) and she like to play the games on Nick.com and has a few computer games.

 

Oh I got it for the $499 after rebates because I didn't need the wireless service.

It should be fine for most video games unless they're graphics intensive.
