Dell Special or can it be done better?

I received an email from Dell with a 22% off special. I configured a nice machine and wanted to run this by folks here to see if I am paying too much or if this deal can be done differently and better.

So is it 22% off of that? Just make sure you realize you're not getting any Microsoft Office software. Not sure what you use your computer for primarily, but note you only have WordPerfect word processing.

 

Also note--no monitor included. I spent about the same on a notebook from them just earlier this week, before the sale, and it, of course, doesn't require the additional purchase of a monitor. I added in a MS software package so my final total was higher.

 

It's not a bad price--I just would say it's nothing exceptional.
