rustar Posted May 17, 2006 Share Posted May 17, 2006 hey i am new at this forum, i want to buy me a laptop till the beginning of june, cauz after that i am leaving the us. i want at least play some games on it, some strategy, but not the newiest shooting games General Questions 1) What is your budget? i think 800 max 900 $ 2) What size notebook would you prefer? i dont need a big laptop i am thinking about 15 zoll 3) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook? gaming( not more then 3 games at the same time installed) and download a little bit music 4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk? take it to some places, when i am in vacation for example 5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games? soccer manager, sportgames,strategy 6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? not really 7) How many hours of battery life do you need? at least 2 i think, but i can buy a other battery not that important 8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person? actually not 9) What country are you buying this in? US till beginning of june and after that in Germany 10) From the choices below, what screen resolutions would you prefer? it doesent matter, should be alright i have no idea, sxga?! 11) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen? it doesnt matter, take the cheapEST one 12) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you? not at all 13) How long do you want this laptop to last? at least 2 years 14) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 120GB? about 60 15) Do you need a DVD, DVD-CD/RW or DVD-R drive? it can be with dvd burner, only cd is enough too. i am an exchange student i dont know how that thing with the coupon works, and friends told that the inspiron 1505 is good appreciate guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
