It's coming quick! What's your Black Friday budget for this year?

It seems like Black Friday will be here in the blink of an eye. I am working on my gift list in anticipation of the ads being released and trying to figure out how much I have to spend. So was wondering - What's your Black Friday budget for this year?

Ummmmm, this has been a rough year for me so I've decided to take on a seasonal position just to pay down some of my bills, so I am not sure what my budget will be as of now  :eyepoppin ...all of my kids are grown so they will feel blessed to receive anything...my grandson just turned one so he's not looking forward to anything :elmo: ...i don't foresee purchasing big ticket items this year, no game systems for the first time in years :gdclap:

I always count on our 3rd quarter profit sharing bonus.  I'm not sure we're getting one this quarter, so honestly I'm a little stressed.  I've already gotten a few things for the most important on my list, and I don't have to get anything for the rest, but I hate that. I keep thinking my oldest grandson is old enough to remember that Grama gets him lots of presents, and still too young to understand Grama can't afford it this year.  It'll work out. I believe in Santa Claus.

I busted my butt on swagbucks and auto loaded my amazon account weekly. That is where I will mostly shop so about 1600.

You are my hero. Every year I think I will horde my Amazon gc from Swagbucks and use them for Christmas.  But then I always find so much I can use those gift cards on throughout the year and it never happens. LOL

Unfortunately, not much this year. We had things come up throughout the year that we're still paying on so we didn't get as much put into the Christmas Club as I would have liked. But as someone mentioned above, my kids are older now and don't need/expect much. Our older son moved into a small apartment this year so he only wants basic stuff he can use (he's turning into his momma! :D) They both have gaming systems that they're happy with and decent TVs so no plans to purchase any big ticket items here either.

Hi there fellow granny!  I always start shopping right after the holidays so I can get ahead on pj's and winter stuff. My grandbabies range in age from 16 down to 2 so I can understand, the older kids get gift cards the younger ones get some toys clothes and books, they love the unwrapping I suspect sometimes more than the gift.

ugh.....sigh.

I always go over but this year i just can't.  I'm looking to have a budget of $50, maybe $60 on the big three that I must buy.  I'm still going to try to do Angel Tree gifts buy maybe only one Angel this year instead of 2 or 3.

Trying to budget for an outdoor wireless camera/doorbell for myself.  Otherwise I need nothing else and I certainly don't need another durn Koh's throw.  :)

Not really sure about a budget yet. I am hoping to have at least 1500.00 but not sure. Some of that (around 200-300) will be a laptop for my daughter for her school work.  I have two sons, one daughter in law, a niece, a nephew (who will be almost 1 by Christmas), my dad, and my husband. :)  I am also hoping to buy a few things for our house (for home improvements).

Not sure at this point. DD got braces, cheer fees, car fees, etc.... It has been a long year but I will pull something out the hat. Not sure on bonuses this year either. Last years bonus we did not get until end of first quarter this year so I cant count on that. So my BF budget maybe $5-700, but over all holiday maybe $1,200.00. But to be honest I really dont feel it yet and as the kids get older the list gets smaller but more expensive. So I will most likely play it by ear this year and she where all the chips fall.

October will be a rough month for us so I won’t be able to save anything but so far from Swagbucks and savings catcher alone I have about $400 and about $1000 in savings so I will be definitely shopping around for the best deals this year.

Wow, I'm doing it all wrong, lol...

Well, I get paid on Dec 20, so most of my Christmas shopping will have to come out of the check I receive Thanksgiving week. Unless I can get some started during October. So that's maybe $1500ish total for all shopping.

But... My amazing parents have decided to give me and my sister and 4 step-siblings $500 each. (this is in addition to the gifts they'll give everyone.) Everyone else has already got theirs, but I said I wanted mine for BF shopping! :) Last year they did the same, and I used it for our vacation the week before Christmas.

Same here. I have been buying a few things as the prices drop. Figure will need about $400 over what I already have for other random stores that I need to pick some things up from but I have been buying gc from MGCP via swagbucks when they offer bonuses to try to cover some of those

I have already gotten started with a little shopping and I spent about 200.00. I made a list up of each person i have to buy for this year and a budget for each so this year my budget is 1700.00. I usually go over my but this year I'm going to try and stick with it as we are working really hard at getting our credit card debt paid in full.

Black Friday budget is maybe $100, probably less unless I end up get my husband lots of clothes at Bass Pro or Wal-Mart. I've been buying since February and have spent around $150. Expect to spend another $150 or so, $200 if I do Ancestry kits for my MIL and FIL.

I haven’t got my budget figured out yet. Have so much going on and with my son a senior I will have senior fees, he wants to go on Spring break with his track team ($1500+) and not to mention basketball season for my youngest son is around the corner. Hoping and praying it all comes together.

My youngest just graduated this past June so I know all too well about senior year and all the money that adds up quickly...what was suggested to me by some guys that I work with was that if my son has a job to make him pay for some or all of the "extras" like prom, senior dues, senior trip etc... this is only a suggestion, but it takes some of the burden off of you as well as helps him to work for something he wants...

I think there are some "experts" on here who may have to let us know the inside secrets...

No expert here but what I do is have my iPad running the apps and on my laptop running the ncrave videos under watch. Make sure you run the ones that auto run. They will run continuously. Also I do some surveys but not a lot.

Also if you get your daily goal every day at the beginning of the following month you get a bonus.

If anyone wants to try this out and don’t already have an account message me and I can send you a link that once you make so much we both get extra I believe.
