Walmart layaway - when does it start?

Does anyone have any idea when walmart layway starts this year my boyfriend works for them but he hasn't heard anything

last year it started Aug 26th so i would expect it around the same time this year, an announcement should be coming soon on the official start date

I was picking up a head for my son yesterday (haha) and the lady told me layaway starts Sept. 1st this year AND its going to be in lawn and garden now. That's going to be a mess!

My favorite Wal Mart always uses the lawn and garden as the layaway spot...and it usually isn't too bad putting the layaway on, it's waiting for them to go to the back of the store and find your layaway when you're picking it up that takes forever!!!!

I talked to one of the guys that did the layaway before he told me it starts the first with all the regular stipulations toys,electronics,furniture,appliances and some sporting goods.each item has to be at least $10 with a $50 minimum total. Ours will also be in lawn and gardens this year

Today is the day going first thing this morning to start my layaway

Well it would be nice since lawn and gardens is closed this time of year they would actually have someone here to do layaway ugh!!
