Stowasser Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 LOOKING FOR CURRENT TARGET CLEARANCE DEALS? CHECK OUT OUR "Perimeter Perusing" THREAD! I am making a document with all the dates of clearance at Target. Since the dates will never change only the days of the week it falls on, I was seeing if anyone had the date that Target started their 90% off of Christmas stuff.....
RossMAN Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Moved to Deal Discussion as this is not a valid deal.
Guest Deals4Me Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Search the archives, its your best bet, I cant rack my brain back that far, I get an error message...hahaha
mdsmithers Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Your answer is.... varied by store For my store it was 2004-2005 Dec 26 - Jan1 50% Jan 2 - Jan 6 75% Jan 7 90% 2005-2006 Dec 26 - Dec 30 50% Dec 31 - Jan 5 75% Jan 6 90% But I read other reports that were different than mine, in fact I'd say each year would depend on the day of the week Christmas falls on and quantity of stock for that area of the store. Good luck and post what you have. I made notes for WalMart and Kohl too.
Gator Pam Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 mdsmithers, did you record what day of the week January 7 in 2004 and January 6 in 2005 was? Did you keep track of this year's (2006) markdowns?
mdsmithers Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I edited my post for clarification Jan 7th was 2005 and Jan 6th was this year, a Friday, which most everyone thought was an odd day for the markdown, but like I said it varied by store. I have 3 that I watch and each was a little different with the day, but the above was my primary store's schedule. I'm not exactly sure on the 2003-2004 schedule, but I can remember that was the year of the christmas lights, all stores had way too much, plenty left at 90%. And they are all in the trash now, lol. Hate those little bulbs.
Gator Pam Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I edited my post for clarification Jan 7th was 2005 and Jan 6th was this yearThanks!!
