Winners Announced for iPad Air 2 Contest!

It's time to announce the winners of our Black Friday contest!

 

In total there were 8,572 entries earned, which includes double entries earned in the "Posted Black Friday Ads" and "Online Black Friday Shopping" sub-forums.

 

The list of usernames/entries was put into Random.org and randomized 10 times. The first 2 names on the resulting list are the grand prize and runner up winners.

 

The grand prize winner of the Apple iPad Air 2 is... speeddiva

 

The runner up winner of Beats Solo 2 headphones is... bribri25

 

For anyone interested, speeddiva had 42 entries and bribri25 had 724 entries.

 

Congrats and thanks to everyone who entered this year. We'll definitely do something similar again next year.

Rather than use foam peanuts, I'll use GD merch as the packaging materials for your prizes, including some items that nobody has seen yet :D

Which reminds me, I'm probably going to have some sort of "GD warehouse sale" in the next few months to clear out some merch from my basement.

I've got a lot of stuff including some older GD and BF t-shirts, hoodies and more. I'll basically be selling this stuff for the cost of shipping. More details soon :)

I'm all in for the Gottadeal yard sale. I think there might be a t-shirt I missed one of the years' past. Gotta complete my collection ;) Also, you  can never have too much Gottadeal merch. Better than packing peanuts for your holiday gifting!

I was thinking the same thing.  It would resurface on my mind now and again when a new post would appear in that thread.  I had NO IDEA I'd had that many posts this year; although maybe some of those entries were due to x2 promotions.

 

And good thing for the runner up prize, or I wouldn't have won at all ;)

For those curious: Kitty in my pic is current furbaby, Mew, curled up in a box far too small for her. Ha! "If I fits, I sleeps!"
