genaa Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 The OM store in Beaumont, TX has closing and clearance signs on the front windows including furniture & fixtures. But things are only marked down 10%, somethings are 20% (pen, pencils & markers) and a few 30% (presentation materials). The shelves are still loaded with items. I'm waiting for a better deal.

mywarmbluefleece Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I went to my Office Max to get highlighting tape (I had been to 4 stores looking for it- ended up finding it at the dollar store) and it was completely closed, with no indication an Office Max had ever been there. How sad for the workers....and no sales either

The boxed merchandise on the shelves is simply being transferred to other Officemax locations that are not closing.
