XBOX ONE HEADSET?

Ok my son has turtle beach headphones for his xbox 360. I was told they wont work with the xbox one console. Would this item allow them to be compatible with box the 360 and xbox one?

Check turtle beach website....some of the headsets can be used with the adapter...the website can tell you if a particular headset will work or not
