Microsoft office ( no subscription )

Hi 

 

Anyone know where can I get a copy ( hard copy and not download ) of Microsoft office ? I don't want it to be on the new subscription service they got going on ? It should work with Window 8. I saw 2 places offering at an add on deal for Black Friday deal of a purchase pc / laptop but I most likely will end up getting that laptop at a separate place. And, the pricing I am hope to be is around no more than $90.

you can buy it from Microsoft for a montly subscription fee or buy it

 

but there is no more Microsoft Office by itself anymore they switched it the Microsoft Office 365 that you see now

Check where you (spouse) work. We get discounted versions... I just had to verify where I work and got office for $10. No subscription...

You can also use it free online thru msn dunno if that will help or not.

If you buy the office 365 then what is the difference between that and the subscription? Is it just no new update?
