I didnt like the design either. That is what i thought too. Why put up if there isnt anything yet. Maybe is a place setting? Who knows.

those are not for today its the same stuff that has been offered all week, the calendar is empty except for those that end on the 23rd

i find that stuff populates in the morning with times of sale. I just scroll through and if anything is semi interesting I make note to check later in the day to see price.

We buy a ton of things from the Lightning Deals every year.  This year, the deals have started populating on the scroll about 24-36 hours in advance.  But it's not a complete list, and I've seen deals pop up an hour or two before going live, especially items that seem like they would be very popular. 

 

For those that haven't used the lightning deals in the past, very popular items can be fully claimed within seconds of going live.  But don't forget to try the wait list.  The window to buy only lasts 15 minutes, and I've been down past #100 on the wait list and still had a chance to get the deal.

tomorrowy they listed How i Met Your Mother The Complete Series that starts the day off so im guessing it will be an all day deal for it, but I dont like the way they are doing this at all

its not really anything its their daily Movie Series DVD's that they are listing there no movies in the list but they are in the lighting deals for tomorrow, why bother to have a calendar for us and not list all the movies on it

that's nice and all but I should have about 95% of the movies already bought from in the stores, at least I don't have to hope I get them on lighting deals, I might pick up ones that I couldn't get in store, since I have to pay tax on amazon this year it don't matte which way I do it this year as long as I get them

Does anyone know if the times listed are in a certain timezone or if they're automatically set to the user's timezone? IDK if that makes any sense. I live in Wisconsin so if it says ''on sale at 10:20AM'' does that mean 10:20AM my time automatically?

I believe if you're logged in it automatically shows your time zone.
