Tigger97498 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 So it doesnt look like we get a calender like in past years of when certain things will be on sale? I dont like that
riven3d Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 i dont like this at all, i see nothing really
2chia Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 I didnt like the design either. That is what i thought too. Why put up if there isnt anything yet. Maybe is a place setting? Who knows.
truexillusions Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Hm. Hopefully it's like the person above me said and it's a place setting. I hope the calender is better than this...
bribri25 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 There's gotta be more than this! Seems like it needs to happen soon if sales are starting in 16 hours....
jamieva Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 DVD deals are up on the calendar for today ending on the 23rd
riven3d Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 DVD deals are up on the calendar for today ending on the 23rd those are not for today its the same stuff that has been offered all week, the calendar is empty except for those that end on the 23rd
NicM987 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Sooooo are we supposed to just monitor Amazon 24/7 for the deals we're looking for? I miss the calendar.
tinkrbel Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 i find that stuff populates in the morning with times of sale. I just scroll through and if anything is semi interesting I make note to check later in the day to see price. 1
kingbobb Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 We buy a ton of things from the Lightning Deals every year. This year, the deals have started populating on the scroll about 24-36 hours in advance. But it's not a complete list, and I've seen deals pop up an hour or two before going live, especially items that seem like they would be very popular. For those that haven't used the lightning deals in the past, very popular items can be fully claimed within seconds of going live. But don't forget to try the wait list. The window to buy only lasts 15 minutes, and I've been down past #100 on the wait list and still had a chance to get the deal. 1
bribri25 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 FIFA 15 & Madden 15 for PS4 on Amazon Lightning Deal for $29.96 right now if anyone was interested.
truexillusions Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 So basically we're not going to get the full list of items and times this year like we have in past years. Bummer.
riven3d Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 right tomorrowy they listed How i Met Your Mother The Complete Series that starts the day off so im guessing it will be an all day deal for it, but I dont like the way they are doing this at all 1
tinkrbel Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 they changed something on us last year too, didnt they?
riven3d Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) they finally added the CD schedule http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=s9_acss_bw_en_HTL_d_2_1?_encoding=UTF8&node=8020391011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=1XSEV1KSN4PNNQ1YMKDA&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1978508002&pf_rd_i=8021566011 now the software and video games schedule looks better but the movies one still has nothing to help us out Edited November 22, 2014 by riven3d
truexillusions Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I feel like they're purposefully trying to frustrate us lol. Just release the dang schedule already.
riven3d Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 i see movies in the lightning deals for tomorrow but this list dont show any of them lol man this list just sucks this year
jamieva Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 dvd deals are on the calendar tab for tomorrow. mostly hell on wheels, star trek ng blu ray etc
riven3d Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 dvd deals are on the calendar tab for tomorrow. mostly hell on wheels, star trek ng blu ray etcits not really anything its their daily Movie Series DVD's that they are listing there no movies in the list but they are in the lighting deals for tomorrow, why bother to have a calendar for us and not list all the movies on it

riven3d Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 that's nice and all but I should have about 95% of the movies already bought from in the stores, at least I don't have to hope I get them on lighting deals, I might pick up ones that I couldn't get in store, since I have to pay tax on amazon this year it don't matte which way I do it this year as long as I get them

truexillusions Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Of course they'd wait this long. *sigh* Does anyone know if the times listed are in a certain timezone or if they're automatically set to the user's timezone? IDK if that makes any sense. I live in Wisconsin so if it says ''on sale at 10:20AM'' does that mean 10:20AM my time automatically?
