ShelB Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 As much as I am a Black Friday fan (start counting down in August), I am hating the early opening. My daughter works at Macy's and is scheduled to be there on Thanksgiving. This throws all of our traditions for the day off.
mamapenguin Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Macy's employees aren't required to work Thanksgiving, unless maybe she's a manager. All those shifts were self selected on October 10th. First full shift is 5:45-3:45. Last year they opened at 8:00, so 6:00 isn't a big surprise. Holiday schedule doesn't release until this Friday. Don't forget Macy's private sale this Sunday from 5:00-10:00pm, 25% off most brands that don't normally go on sale.
